Step by step

  1. For all chats: tap the H, then Settings, then Notification tone, and tap a tone to hear it.
  2. For one chat: open the chat, tap the name at the top, then Customize chat, then Notification tone.
  3. A chat with its own tone keeps it even if you change the general one.
  4. Tones respect silent mode, vibrate mode and Do Not Disturb.
