Step by step

  1. In a chat, tap the microphone to start recording; the bar shows the time and the sound. Tap the pause icon to pause, the bin to throw it away.
  2. Before sending, tap the magic wand to open the voice preview. Tap play to hear yourself.
  3. Pick a tab — People (man, woman, kid, baby, grandpa), Fun (robot, alien, chipmunk, monster, ghost, tipsy) or Places — and try the voices; you hear each one before anyone else does.
  4. Tap Send. The other person hears the transformed voice.
